Tonight is the long awaited night that the seventh book comes out. Much like the exciting changes occurring at Hogwarts in the books, here at Enter Hogwarts we are going through changes of our own. Currently we are discussing moving the board, so be sure to swing around to the General Ramble to post your opinion or just show support.
Apart from the technical aspects of the site there is much excitement occurring thanks to the arrival of new Headmaster Artemis Stonewall. Many were surprised when he took Rhiannon Mackenzie's position after she was deemed unfit to protect the students of Hogwarts. Now it appears he isn't at Hogwarts just to watch, he brings change with him. Changes lead to progress but has has he gone to far? Be sure to post so that your thoughts and feelings aren't left unheard.
Disappointed that you missed the Oscars? Well you can always head over the Oscars board and see if you have won an award. Don't see your name on the list? Well keep on posting, there is always next year!
Finally, I know many of you are excited about the new book. Well be sure to join in on disscussions on the board! The site is spoiler safe except for the Harry Potter Board. -Angel

Now all of you may have noticed A LOT of changes going on with the site and I hope everyone sticks around for the plots we have thought up for all of you! If you know anyone that has left EH, make sure to tell them the exciting things that are going on! If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please PM me, Angel or Holly. Just don’t do the stupid thing and ask what is going on. We won’t tell you.
Teacher positions are still open! If anyone has any interest in becoming a teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic or any other potential class that is not immediately listed, please apply soon! (Just a warning: We want to fill the main classes before we consider formation of any other classes. Please look at all the class boards soon so you can sign up for classes that are well on their way in starting. Remember that you can only sign up for two classes per term (per character) and you do not have to do any actual homework.
Speaking of Common rooms, they are up and functioning! Besides for the designated Common room thread for the members of a particular house only, anyone can post anywhere! Let me remind you that if you don't post very often on the main boards, Common rooms are a great way to get your post count up and meet fellow house mates and school mates.
Also a reminder, if there are new students on the board, go out of your way to introduce yourself, whether it is via PM or thread. We were once new to the site and it was only through connections to people that any of us stuck around.
Get ready for Enter Hogwarts Oscar 2007! Check the board for any updates and check your mail for your oscar form! Remember to complete them and send them in as soon as possible! -Loki
